What’s your position on the Bat vigilante?
Did you know that Spider-Man lives with his auntie?
I wonder if I could pinch things from comics,
and create things about characters that are iconic.
To produce something silly and funny.
Possibly, making someone laugh.
And perhaps, make them cry.
Because of the ache in their tummy.
If you smell-ll-ll-ll-ll what The Rock is cooking.
Chocolate brownies.
They’re yummy!
Write something! Write something new. Something new and fresh.
So what now? What now and what next?
Write now! But what?
What what what?
You know that feeling? You know… Writer’s block!
But it’s just a hurdle.
A hurdle to leap over!
Leap to success.
Fly to victory.
Type a nice piece of writing.
Though rough drafts are a mess.

How long has it been?
It may seem,
I’ve not been,
so keen.
Like it was all a distant dream.

But but but!
Even though I was away,
I’ve come back to play.
Even just for today,
I’ll keep writer’s block at bay?
I’m here to stay,
I hope anyway.
Yahay!
Awake. Awake.
Time to write.
Escape into flight.
Of Fantasy.
Even though it’s night.
Night to write.
I say.
Today, (Tonight),
I write.
What if? What if?
The ways were simple?
The ways to go?
The things to know?
What if? What if?
Yet it seems,
That’s all dreams,
Nowhere to go!
Complicated,
Crucifying,
Crushing,
Chaotic chaos!
But, hope is hoped for,
Ways must be found,
For dreams to come,
To fruition.
Freedom to be found,
There Must be a way…
What if? What if?
The day is done for most
The night is now the host
When your body is floppin’
But your mind is tick-tockin’
When you wanna write, write, write
And draw, draw, draw,
Just a little somethin’
Then, more, more, more!
Waiting for inspiring thoughts,
Then, letting out the spark,
To create,
A blazing piece of work,
That you can call your own
You can be the guest,
In the night of creativity!
As 2012 draws near to a close, I just happened to put together a poem slightly on the apocalyptic flavour.
I thought it might be fun 🙂
I was curious as to what people would think of it on the site that I submitted it.
I’m not sure what the response would be.
Is the poem unusual?
